Frequently Asked Questions
General
How do I contact client support?
For help with an active license, account or delivery, email support@thedatasyndicate.io. Include your account email, county and a brief description so our team can investigate.
Client support is handled by email. Discovery calls are for new and returning clients who want to explore or restart service.
Counties
Do you cover my county?
Visit our county coverage page to explore available markets and lead types. If you don’t see your county, submit a research request so our team can review it.
When will coverage reach my county?
We’re continuing to expand our coverage. Email discovery@thedatasyndicate.io with the county you’re interested in, and our discovery team will let you know when it becomes available.
How do you choose which counties to add?
We consider client demand, market trends and access to reliable public records. The availability of relevant filings and the ability to collect them consistently help determine which counties we can add.
Can I request a new county?
Yes. Email discovery@thedatasyndicate.io or submit a research request. Requests help us prioritize future research, although we can’t guarantee when or whether a county will become available.
Orders
How do I access leads after ordering?
Sign in to your account and open My Downloads. Your files appear under the licenses you purchased, with the newest file first. We deliver new leads the same day and notify you when a file is uploaded.
If an expected file is missing, email support@thedatasyndicate.io for help.
How do I update my payment method?
Sign in and open Payment Methods to update the payment details saved to your account. If you need help, contact support@thedatasyndicate.io.
How do I report incorrect or incomplete data?
Email support@thedatasyndicate.io with the county, file name and a brief description of the issue. Our team will review the records and work with you to resolve it.
Can I change my license term?
Contact our support team to review changes to an active license or the options for your next renewal. Available changes and pricing depend on your current agreement, including any multi-license or longer-term discounts.
Review the applicable terms with our team before making a change.
How do I request a refund?
Refund eligibility is governed by our Terms of Service. If you believe your purchase qualifies, email support@thedatasyndicate.io so our team can review your request.
Data
Can I see sample data before purchasing?
We don’t provide sample lead files before purchase, to protect our proprietary data and sourcing process. After ordering, you can use the Standard Data Format guide in the Help Center to review the column names, example entries and field descriptions.
How are volume tiers updated?
Our staff manually updates each county’s volume tier at the start of every month. The county finder uses four labels: Low, Medium, High and Ultra. For help comparing markets or checking license availability, email discovery@thedatasyndicate.io.
How often are leads delivered?
We check county records daily and deliver newly filed leads the same day across all markets. You’ll receive a notification when a new file is uploaded to your account.
If you need help with a delivery, email support@thedatasyndicate.io with your county and the date you’re checking.
What file format will I receive?
Your lead files are delivered in XLSX format through your client account. After ordering, use the Standard Data Format guide in the Help Center to understand the columns, formats and examples.
Is skip tracing included?
Yes. Your lead lists include Tier-1 skip tracing with available phone numbers, email addresses and mailing addresses. Files may also include property information, contact indicators and details specific to the lead type.
Use the Standard Data Format guide to understand the fields in your file. A blank field means that information was not supplied for that record.
When can I download my files?
New leads are delivered the same day across all markets. Your files become available in My Downloads as soon as they’re uploaded, and we’ll send a notification when they’re ready. Files are grouped by license, with the newest file first.
Why is there no new file for my county?
A county may have no qualifying new filings on a given day. Check your delivery notification for any no-update notice. If you expected a file but can’t find it, email support@thedatasyndicate.io with the county and date so we can check.
What do the columns in my file mean?
The Standard Data Format guide explains each column, including its format, an example and a description. Start there when reviewing your files, and contact support if you need help with a specific field.
Where do your leads come from?
We source leads from official county records and other local publishers that work with counties. These can include newspapers publishing sheriff sales and public notice providers.
